The carving or carving of gourds with stories, fauna and flora of the indigenous communities, is transferred to woodcut: a letterpress printing technique that is made with wooden plates engraved in relief to stamp paper, cardboard and cloth.
The Térraba indigenous territory belongs to the Brorán people, which is located in the canton of Buenos Aires de Puntarenas.
